Good Fences #78

I just love freezing cold early morning walks (don't like getting out of bed, but when I'm up, I'm ready to go). And last Saturday was no exception.

Good Fences #77

Hubby and I had a beautiful day out last week. We went and had a nice drive out to Noojee, about 90mins from here, where this stunning Trestle bridge is. We walked along the old rail trail for a a few kilometers, it was nice to just have a wandering relaxing day.

And we finished the day with lunch at the local pub!!

Good Fences #75

The last days of autumn are here. Next week winter will settle in, though not as cold as in some parts of the world, but still cold.

And, I found this fellow out on my walk down at the lake the other day.
I think it's a White Faced Heron

I haven't done a lot of autumn shots this year, so here's one,.....
 it matched the fence perfectly

Good Fences #72

I'm back!! :-), I haven't been anywhere, just here, lurking the last few weeks after a huge month in March. Below are a few pics of the March happenings, but first my fence.

This creative piece is fence made from a pallette,..... that has been transformed into an edible garden fence. Although its autumn, and not much is growing , apart from a few herbs, you can get the jist of how it works. In the summer they had strawberries growing amongst the herbs as well. Castors let them move it around to get the best of the sun or shade.

March saw me celebrating an "0" birthday. It was lots of fun, with a few small gatherings of family and friends over the week

Of course it's not just my birthday, it is ALWAYS shared with my beautiful twin sister Rose :-)

Then a week later, after months of preparation, my daughter was married at her grandparents farm, something she had dreamt of since she was a little girl. It was a beautiful day.

This pic made it into the Weekly Times Newspaper
The newly weds, Laura and Jarrod, making a stylish entrance, proudly chauffeur driven by my brother

And no bride should ever be without her "Cinderella" shoes

Good Fences #69

Went for a drive to the top of Mt Dandenong last week, Behind this very insignificant little fence is the channel 10 TV tower. I'd forgotten how huge they are.

Just below the tower is the amazing view of Melbourne, but it was still too foggy to see it.

And then we drove around to the other side of the mountain to Kalorama for the back view,
Silvan Reservoir and the Warburton Ranges in the distance, I could have stayed here for hours!!

Good Fences #67

Oh my, where has the time gone!! IT'S February!!
I've had lots of fun (Christmas and New Years) and a Holiday (to our usual favourite spot Inverloch)
and am now busy helping our daughter with her wedding plans (that's in 5 weeks!!)

I have missed my blogging :-)
Found this cute little "beach fence" down in Inverloch. These fences used to be everywhere in beach side places.

hope you've had a wonderful start to 2016.

Good Fences #63

Met up with this fellow when I went for a walk in the paddock at Mum & Dad's.
I must say, I was a bit scared, not the friendliest looking bull. So I made quick steps out of there ;-)
