I haven't sat and done a 'what I'm up to/what I've done' post for ages. The days just run away!!
I'll rewind just a little to just before Christmas.
(be warned, lots of photos)
Down at Mum and Dad's place a new member was added in early December. Jack wasn't too happy to start with.............
Meet 12 week old Lillee, a kelpie x border collie X lab.
Meet 12 week old Lillee, a kelpie x border collie X lab.
She's sooooo cute, and................
.........growing very quickly!! This was last week, she's 4 months old
Jack is all happy with his new companion.
Christmas came and went, we had fabulous family time
Before Christmas I managed to make some birthday gifts,
a table runner for my SIL's 60th
finish this quilt for my nieces 21st,
christmas gifts, there were others but I forgot to take photos.
January saw us travel to our usual, favorite holiday spot, Inverloch, where we had THE best, most relaxing time ever!! The weather, perfect for the whole time we were there.
The company......... fantastic.
Looks like J was proposing to J ;-)
walks up to the bluff,
early morning walks along the beach........
evening walks along the beach,
its was just bliss.
I took this photo with my phone, can you believe the colours!!??
Home again
and it was time to get the kids organised for the first big solo overseas trip to Canada and the US.
Justin left first..........his trip was for 4 weeks, he had a ball, loved the cold, snow and learnt how to ski.
Laura left 5 days later. Her Canada trip is now finished, she too had a ball, she's now in the US
having a totally fantastic time.........am I jealous, ..........yep!! She still has another 3 weeks to go
I must admit, the house terribly empty, strange feeling it was.
Then it was right back work.
I do have a some things happening, like preparations for this stitching day.
It should be a great weekend.
That's it for now,
Have a fantastic week
Enjoy It, Live It, Love It

Love the pictures of the ocean view and your pups...and the quilts are amazing...you are so talented! You have a handsome family...looks like there is a lot of love there! I hope your children had a wonderful time here in the U.S. and that everyone was nice and cordial to them. I hope they have a safe return home! Enjoy your time alone...eventually, you WILL enjoy time without the kids. I have finally learned how! My youngest graduated from high school last year and I have a near empty nest now. I find I enjoy the peace and quiet more than I ever thought possible!
Great blog Ramona..your life in a nutshell. Are there still places at the stitchin? I don't think I knew about this one.
Yes time does fly. I am going to the sewing day on the Sunday.
