Here we are again at the end of another week.

This stunning Mollis Azalea caught my eye the other morning, and they kindly put a fence in front of it for me ;-)

Happenings and a giveaway

Goodness me its been a very, VERY long time since I posted something other than a fence. Mind you, I do have a lot of fun looking out for them. I'll try not to bore you with too much.

In May we added 2 new members to our family.......Kitty cats, Introducing Flint (tabby) and Luna (tortoise shell) Flint is a month older. Very social and they love mischief, especially Flint.

Flint loves balls made from aluminium foil, as soon as he hears me in the kitchen with it, he's at my feet waiting for a little bit to turn into a ball. He steals my thread and pulls the pins out from my pincushion!! Apparently he's helping....

 Here we all are looking for things they've lost under the couch.......

One of my sewing groups had a quilt show a few months back, it was a huge success. Lots of organising and things to finish,
but we raised lots of  $$ for our local fire brigade which was fantastic.

This last weekend we had our second Stitched in Time day. Its a day where I team up with my friend Gail, from Gail Pan Designs, we host a day with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea and have a wonderful day sewing.
We had about 55 ladies and I think everyone had a ball. There are a few photos here. (I forgot to take photos, sorry!!) If you are interested in joining us next year, here are more details.
I designed a couple of patterns for the day, which I am very pleased with, a Journal cover and a Christmas wall hanging

 The tree ferns are starting to uncurl their fronds, and are looking bright and fresh.

And still just managing to keep in with the fence theme (there is only a hint of my front fence),

on Wednesday we had the pleasure of enjoying this little fellow in our garden.

Echidnas are soooo cute to watch!!

This gorgeous old farmhouse is just up the road from me. I walked on that side of the road for a change (no footpath on that side) and this amazing shot jumped out. Once spring has really sprung, I'll walk down again and take another photo with all the foliage on the trees.

This beautiful camellia tree has the most amazing coloured flowers. The bees are obviously not cleaning their feet when they move from flower to flower ;-) Thank goodness, because the results are stunning!!
