Back to reality, our summer holiday has ended. Each year (for the last 20) we go to the same place, 

each year I still love it.

I need to keep an eye on this place down the road, there is a new fence happening

I have so much blogging I want to do, but not enough hours in the day.

We've been spending a lot of time up in the country helping out the family where my SIL is unwell.

Time is very precious.

 My sister in-law has now for nearly 20 years made the Gingerbread house for the Hermann Family Christmas, this year it was a bit of an Aussie theme. The outback sheep station complete with verandahs, fences, gate and sheep. 

Hope you all had a beautiful Christmas and that you had a lovely start to the New Year.

We're off for our annual beach holiday next week, I'm really looking forward to getting away from work.

On Sat 28th March or Sun 29th March 2015

For a fun filled day of stitching, friends and great food

You will receive:

4 new release patterns

Starter kits for the patterns

A gift bag with lovely treats inside

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea

(Tea and coffee all day)

There will also be an opportunity to do some shopping!

Cost: $100

Venue: Narre Warren East Hall

Berwick Rd, Narre Warren East

(Just off Wellington Rd)

Time: 10am – 4pm

Please bring your favourite coffee mug along with your general sewing kit

Hubby and I went into Melbourne last week, had a walk around, we've not been into the city all year. We crossed the Yarra River and there were all these padlocks on the railing fence. They were from all over the world. Must find out what it signifies.

Then we were treated to this, a mummy kangaroo with her joey, The legs were stitcking out in the first photo, then he turned around, much better/cuter look

This photo was taken just up the hill behind Niagra falls. A snow fence?? Bet its totally under snow now!! I hope those of you who are in that area are all safe.

I was out early the other week, I stepped out onto the back deck ready to put on my shoes and this handsome little fellow landed right in front of me!! A young King Parrot, he wasn't afraid at all,.............. 

a minute later down flies mum or dad. As you can see they are much brighter than their baby.

I have a super hectic fun weekend coming up, lots of planning the last couple of weeks,

hosting our stitching weekend again, Stitched in Time with Gail. Should be fun, We have 60 ladies booked in for each day. Then the following weekend we have Laura and Jarrod's engagement, goodness, busy times ahead.

Last week I popped up to Bendigo to visit my SIL Raeleen who is not well at all (please keep her in your prayers), I had a lovely walk in the morning. Spring is definitely just around the corner, the beautiful Golden Wattle is out in all its glory. And there is a tiny bit of paddock fence just to keep it "fencey"
